Welcome! I have quite an addiction to drawing and I doodle all over the place. Here I will mostly be posting these small doodles I make, although i'll also add some of my "more serious" paintings and drawings or anything I DO/FIND related to art.I'll (try to) post as often as possible and I would love for you people to express what you think about them (either good things or bad things, i'm eager to hear what you think!)
*If you are wondering why this blog has such a weird name they are just the fist two letters of my name and all the surnames I know :-p

Philosophical Teddy Bear??

Today i'm posting a doodle i found in my philosophy notebook. While I listened to the teacher talking about Kant and his philosophical ideas i drew this teddy bear. I like him because he is kind of cute and scary at the same time and, while he's not very philosophical he's as wierd as most philosophers and their ideas xD

P.d: Did you know why Teddy bears are called that way?? well,it's all thanks to the american president Theodore Roosevelt and his love for hunting. His nickname was "Teddy" and on a bear hunting trip in Mississippi, he came upon a wounded young bear and ordered the mercy killing of the animal. The Washington Post depicted the moment with a cartoon where Rosevelt appeared with a cute bear cub. The story became very popular and so they gave this name to the famous toy.

Watercolour Owl

Hi! it's been a while since i posted anything because i've been kind of busy. Anyway, i've just finished a watercolour owl which i think turned out quite nicely. I will be giving it as a present to a friend of mine that has been waiting for her birthday present for a year and a half..... Hope you ENJOY IT(and hope she does to because after all the waiting she must think i forgot all about her)! :)

Lighthouse painting

Today i'm just posting another of my paintings. This one is based on a photograph i found browsing around the web. I think that this painting is one of those paintings that are nicer in real life than in photographs... It was a gift for my parents and i personally like it.do you??? :)

Photo of the week!

This week i'm posting a photo I personally like a lot because of the beautiful patterns and colours. You'll probably ask yourself what exactly is this. Well, while it looks like an image from a kaleidoscope it's far from that. It's actually a dome, the dome of "the Hall of the Abencerrajes family" in the Alhambra, Granada,Spain. I went there on a long weekend right before Christmas and the whole Alhambra complex, with it's fountains, gardens and halls is simply stunning.

The Alhambra is,by far, the best remain of spanish muslim heritage, closely followed by Cordoba's cathedral-mosque. Muslim architecture is lovely, paying close attention to detail and blending nature with architecture in a beautiful way.
If you haven't gone to Granada and visited the Alhambra yet, I strongly recomend it. When I ask people if they have visited  Spain most of them say "Yes,well i've been to Barcelona" Don't get
Me wrong, Barcelona is also lovely, but there are many other places in Spain that are at least as beautiful that no one knows. And, besides, Barcelona considers itself the least spanish part of Spain so if you want to learn spanish and spanish culture it's not the best place to go.
